OBJECTIVE

 

To advance my academic career on an international level, developing new ideas and realizing them in a fruitful environment.

 

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

 

  • Since April 2009: Post-doc Position, University of Trento.

     Entity-centric management of corporate multimedia assets.
 

  • From July 2004 to March 2009: Department of Information Systems, Health Care Group, Province of Trento, Italy.

     Innovation scouting. Technological standards specifications for guiding new acquisitions and developments.

     Awarded with a paid leave to pursue PhD.

 

  • From April 2002 to June 2004: Department of Informatics and Telecommunication, Research Associate University of Trento.

    Analysis, design and development of an E-learning platform for the University of Trento.
 

  • From June 2001 to September 2001 at the Laboratory of Computer Engineering in Rovereto (TN).
     Development of a CRM application, applying concepts of one-to-one marketing. 

 

  • From July  1998 to October 1988: position as System Administrator for a local bank (“Cassa Rurale Sopramonte”).

  • February 2009: PhD in Information and Telecommunication Technology at the International Doctorate School of the University of Trento for her work titled: “Discovering Semantics in Multimedia Content: An Approach for Bridging the Semantic Annotation-Retrieval Gap”.

  • From November 1998 to September 1999: 10-month stay in the US, attending full time classes at the American Language Communication Center of New York.

INTERNSHIP

Work on bachelor thesis: solving the problem of object persistence in heterogeneous and distributed environments (use case: on line trading).

 

Thesis title: Object persistence in J2EE.
